Today I could prepare one more tile !

I was busy learning a bit systematically. Searched for all grid based tangles then prepared tiles selecting 4 similar grid based tangles in one tile...then i prepares separate tile for each of those tangle with different way of making the same tangle by shading or adding the enhancers. it was fun and was more calming

left some work so i can work as I get more ideas and tips. I selected to add tangle 'Flair' in this but when i started making individual tile of it, I somehow didnt enjoy it. It was so much fun to see what one can do with the tangle 'Meo'... i really loved it.

Since 2 days I was enjoying drawing lines ( one at a time !) for 3 tangles,  tangle 'Dillo ( by CZT Lori Manoogian) , tangle 'Meringue'  (by CZT Kelley Kelly) and 'I-Leaf' (by Kim Arts).

I liked them so much that even though I wasn't able to create my ideas into them, I just wanted to do so much with them. I just kept practicing and did make something. Posting it here. If any improvement or more creativity I can bring, please send me your expert comments. I would love to work more on them.


I am going crazy and completely tangled since last few days...but without a direction. Started  few ZIAs, working with watercolors, they r still unfinished.

Also learned and practiced few tangles.loved tangle 'Huggins'.
I was given some tips by my friend about the defined zentangle tile. tried making 2 of them. Hope that i didn't break the guidelines of zentangle tile.

Today, I was working on tangle 'Florez' which is a challange of this week. practiced 1st and then tried making my own zentangle tile.

I was able to bring few more tangle patterns with this but shading was not very easy for me.mainly to bring enough contrast and bringing the pattern on front and back. 1st I created it black and white original...but then i added some colors to it as I somehow tend to bring colors in my tiles.

I am not very happy with this tile but I still feel proud that I did try something of my own.

 




One day, I was going thru some zentangle art related blogs and came across one that had a challenge for making a tile using 2 tangle patterns.... Auraknot and Bunzo. This was 3-4 days back when I was still in the process of learning different tangle patterns and trying to remember their names. I somehow had learnt these both so thought of just trying something myself. I can not believe but I did create two tiles of these 2 patterns together. This was my 1st step towards creating my zentangle tile ! My very 1st tiles that I made on Sept 27th 2016.

Yesterday, while I was practicing tangeling, I saw a beautiful work on tangle 'Garlic Colves'. Actually I saw many beautiful work on this tangle in one week, I just felt like working on this one and try to create something myself with just using the concept of what I saw and liked it.It worked ! I did come up with something sensible that I could share with others !!  It was impossible for me to think 2 days back that I will start making my own zentangle tiles. ( Sept 28th2016)



Today I learnt few tangles, practiced them and tried to find more possibilities of each tangles. I created another tile ! I am so  happy :),  I created one more ....



This is tangle Trelina ! here I experienced that one just need to go with the flow of the pen !! you can not plan it...just one stroke after another......you can see a crossed like on right top corner. A plain paper covering a tangle which I was kind of planed the shape and was trying to make lines in that direction...it didnt work !

Started my 1st step in Zentangle world this month, Sept 2016.Before this, Doodel, zentangle or tangle...all were just like one group of art designs for me. I used to design them in some of my watercolor art work. I was not aware of their definitions. One day I just desired to know the names of tangles....There I go.....A huge world of Zentagle Art with unlimited amount of creativity !!!

Here I will post some of my Art work which was done before my knowledge about Zentangle.

I named my these art work 'Ganesha Doodle'

  

When I made these, I used so many tangle patterns ( now I can say as 'tangle patterns') but if I had to deconstruct them then, I wouldn't know. I just sketched them as drawing and designs.

One day I was chatting with one of my facebook friend who is a CZT, I sent her one of these picture. I can never thank her enough to give me some comments on it. Her 1st and imp comment was ' shading part is missing, that will give them the depth'.....

I started searching for how to do shading work. I then found some videos and I practiced some of the tangles without knowing their names or I can say that I wasn't giving the attention to the name of those tangle patterns. But I was happy to see my work and to see the difference it brings to a tangle pattern.

then one day my same facebook friend had posted one of her ZIA ( Zentagle inspired artwork) and I fell in love with it. I liked it so much that I wanted to that work on one of my house wall. I was then chatting with her and I told her my wish...she gave me lots of tips and I started working on it....1st on paper. On my half way to that work on paper, I suddenly felt the need to know about zentangle and wanted to learn the names of some different tangle patterns. This day, my jurney began towards this world of endless creativity !

My 1st pattern that I learnt with its name was 'Nymph'. with the help of a video made by CZT Melinda Barlow.
